What happens to the information you share with Northbook, and how to contact us about it.
Last updated 11 October 2026
This policy explains what happens when you visit northbook.uk or contact us about a project.
Who operates Northbook
Northbook is an independently operated AI engineering business based in India. It is operated by Savio Tomy, trading as Northbook. For privacy questions or requests about your information, use our contact form and select Privacy or data request.
Information we collect
When you contact us, we receive your name, email address, message, the enquiry category and any optional company or budget details you provide. Our hosting service may also collect technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for security and delivery.
Please do not submit passwords, customer records or confidential documents through the public enquiry form.
How we use it
We use your information to reply, discuss potential work, prepare proposals if requested, handle privacy enquiries, and keep the website secure. Depending on the circumstances, our legal basis is legitimate interests, steps you ask us to take before a contract, or compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell enquiry details or use them for mailing lists.
Service providers and international access
Our website hosting and form-processing provider stores and processes enquiries on our behalf. Our email provider processes correspondence when we reply. Northbook operates from India, so enquiry information may be accessed there. These providers may also process data in other countries. Applicable international-transfer requirements must be considered for the relevant processing.
How long we keep information
We aim to delete enquiries that do not become projects within 12 months of the last meaningful contact, unless records need to be kept for legal, security or dispute reasons. Project-related records may have different retention requirements. This includes copies stored with our form and email providers.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your information, object to certain uses, or ask us to limit processing. Contact us through the contact form. If UK data-protection law applies, you can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Website technology
This site does not currently use advertising pixels or visitor-tracking analytics. It loads Google Fonts, so your browser may connect to Google's servers and share standard technical request information. Essential technical measures may be used to deliver and protect the website. We will update this policy if our services or data practices change.
